THE PARIS NEWS, 8 Aug 1990. 'Aliene H. Booth, 82, of Lubbock, died Monday, 6 Aug 1990, at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, 8 Aug, at Rix Funeral Director's Chapel with Dr. James F. Jackson II officiating. Burial will be in the City of Lubbock Cemetery. Mrs. Booth was born in Paris, the daughter of Calvin Blake Harris and Mary Edna Harris on 6 Oct 1907. She attended Paris public schools and Paris Commercial College. She married Jer B. Booth on 16 Oct 1933 in Paris. He died 2 Jul 1983. Mrs. Booth had been a resident of Lubbock since 1943 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Friendship Class, the United Methodist Women and had served in the Auxiliary at Methodist Hospital. Surviving are four nephews, Robert E. Harris of Houston, J.W. Harris of Dallas, Corrie Wayne Harris of Annapolis, Md. and Michael Blake Harris of Austin, and two nieces, Rosemary Harris of Austin and Mary Ann Stephens of Paris.'
