| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, March 28, 1999, page 10A: 'DEPORT - Worth A. Baker, 91, of Fulbright, died Saturday at Christus St. Joseph's Hospital in Paris. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 29, in Wood Funeral Home Chapel in Deport. Burial will be in Turner Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Baker was born Dec. 28, 1907, in Bagwell, a son of William and Mary Frances (Hastings) Baker. He married Audrey Lee Grogan Nov. 27, 1929, in Hugo. She died June 15, 1994. He was a retired farmer and worked for Deport Schools as a bus driver more than 20 years. Survivors include a daughter, Karen Baker of Fulbright and many nieces and nephews.' |
