THE PARIS NEWS, December 11, 1929: 'S. E. Bailey of East Paris, en route home from Littlefield, died Tuesday at Snyder, according to a message to his family here, and the body will arrive Thursday for burial. Definite funeral arrangements had not been announced Tuesday night. Mr. Bailey, about 50 years old, made his home here on Pine Mill road. His wife and two sons, Clifton and Elzie Bailey, of Paris; a sister, Mrs. Susie Bearden and his mother, Mrs. Mary Bailey, of Oklahoma, survive him.' THE PARIS NEWS, December 12, 1929: 'Funeral services for S. E. Bailey will be held at the Manton-Fry funeral home, conducted by the Rev. W. H. Brewer, pastor of the Methodist Protestant church. Burial will be at the cemetery at Deport.' Double marker with Cora I. Bailey. Near William C. Marshall and Will D. Bailey.
