| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, August 29, 1999, page 4B: 'Mary Elizabeth Barnett, 80, of Paris died Friday, Aug. 27, 1999 at Parkview Nursing Home. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 30 at Gene Roden's Sons Chapel. The Rev. Randall Scott will be officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Honey Grove. Visitation will be 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29. Mrs. Barnett was born Nov. 1, 1918 in Ladonia to Edgar and Christine Sale. She is survived by sons, Alfred Barnett of Tennessee, Glen Barnett of Paris and John Barnett of Paris; brothers R. W. 'Pete' Sale of Paris, W. H. 'Bud' Sale of Dallas, Stanley 'Doc' Sale of Dallas, Robert 'Joe' Sale of Paris; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, James Thomas Barnett and son, James Thomas Barnett Jr. Pallbearers will be Clarence Raulston, Willie Lambertson, Bobby Slagle, David Power, Stephen Barnett and Billy Brockway. Honorary pallbearers will be Leon Kinder and Bernie Hutson.' |
