THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, February 25, 2001: 'Lee R. Bishop, 77, of Valliant, Okla., died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, in St. Joseph's Hospital. Services are 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at First Baptist Church, Valliant, with Rev. Otis Cayton and Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Burial is in Springs Chapel Cemetery, Hugo. Surviving relatives are one step-son, Mark Warren of North Carolina; one step-daughter, Regina Webb of North Carolina; and three step-grandchildren.'
