THE PARIS NEWS, Monday, April 26, 1999, page 4B: 'COOPER - Oma Baker, 87, of Cooper died Sunday, April 25, 1999, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center, Paris. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, at Delta Funeral Home with Henry Suche and Sam Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Surviving are two sons, Morgan Baker of Farmersville and Kenny Baker of Cooper; two daughters, Wyonne Moody of Commerce and Laralnel Smith of Russellville, Ark.; two brothers, Joe Morgan of Brownwood and Wilson Morgan of Wichita, Kan.; a sister, Laverne Butler of Athens; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Bernard Baker Oct. 20, 1970. Grandsons will be pallbearers.'
