THE PARIS NEWS, Monday, April 19, 1999, page 4B: 'Janie Reeves Bennet, 84, died April 18, 1999, in Rockwall. Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home will conduct graveside services at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Appleby officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Bennett was born Sept. 14, 1914, in Red River County to Ed and Ana Reeves. She worked with her husband at Bennett's Cleaners on Pine Bluff St., from 1948 until 1977. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving are two sisters, Sybil Taylor and Ann Forsythe of Rockwall; a brother, Joe Clark of Paris; a granddaughter, Carlene Blessing of Rockwall; a son-in-law, C. J. Cooper of Rockwall; a great-grandson, Russell Bennett Blessing of Rockwall; and many nieces, nephews and friends, all of whom she loved very much.'
