Information from Greer Gibson Bacon, Spokane, WA, ga.gee@live.com, 01/21/2013: Lucy C. Nash was born 1834 in Powhatan, Virginia, USA. She was the oldest of seven children born to Thomas P. and Mary M. (Hobson) Nash. The family migrated to Lamar County, Texas between 1852 and 1860. She was the oldest sister of Travis Lawson Nash. Lucy C. Nash married Francis Willets Bassano June 13, 1860. From Texas Marriage and U.S. Census Records.
