THE PARIS NEWS, Thursday, April 29, 1999, page 4B: 'COOPER - Gladys Myrtle Meadlin Taylor, 92, of Paris died Wednesday, April 28, 1999, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Delta Funeral Home will conduct graveside services at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 30, at Crestview Cemetery in Wichita Falls with Gary Waller officiating. Visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. She taught elementary school for 42 years before retiring and was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma. Surviving are a brother, K. D. Meadlin of Arlington; a sister, Beauton Ruby Adair of Cooper; a sister-in-law, Fannie Bess Meadlin of Paris, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilton M. Taylor May 28, 1949, a brother, James Leonard Meadlin, and a sister, Lucille Meadlin East.'
