THE PARIS NEWS, Friday, June 22, 1984, p. 4: “Huldah Pearl Broyles, a resident of the Cherry Street Annex, died Thursday, June 21, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Broyles are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Moore and the Rev. Dr. James Semple officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery in Roxton under the direction of Gene Roden’s Sons, Directors of Funerals. Mrs. Broyles was born Aug. 9, 1894, in Decatur, Kansas, the daughter of Issac Roland and Nettie Ann Brown Danks. She married Luther Oval Broyles on June 5, 1927, and he preceeded her in death on May 30, 1959. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and a homemaker. Survivors include six daughters; Netti Youngblood and Annie Tucker, both of Paris; Addlean Minard of Hazel Park, Michigan; Allean Hartley of Albuquerque, N.M.; and Virgie Reedy and Irvittie Anderson, both of Hickman, Ky.; four sons, Oscar Broyles of Paris, Marvin Broyles of Hickman, Ky., Orvil Broyles of Albuquerque, N.M., and Dewey Broyles of Oak Park, Michigan; one sister-in-law, Margaret Danks of Minnesota; 36 grandchildren; 56 great- grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.”
On the same stone with Luther O. Broyles. Tombstone is inscribed with years of birth and death only.
