| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Wednesday, March 10, 1999, page 4B: 'HUGO, Okla. - Burnis Burrell Sr., 78, of Valliant died Tuesday, March 9, 1999, in McCuistion Regional Medical Center, Paris. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 12, at Ollie Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Burnis Burrell Jr. officiating. Rogan Funeral Home will make burial in Valliant Cemetery. The body will lie at the church from 10-11 a.m. Friday. Surviving are his wife, Willie Mae; sons, the Rev. Burnis Burrell Jr., and James Burrell of Valliant and John Burrell of Mesquite, Texas; daughters, Gussie Douglas of Valliant, Burnece Holloway of Ardmore, Ruby Watson of Kansas City, Kan., LaWanda Burrell and Wonder Burrell of Dallas; brothers, Quillard and Clarence Cherry of Valliant and Louis Burrell of Oklahoma City; a sister, Rosie Lee Love of Tulsa; 22 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.' |
