THE PARIS NEWS, Friday, July 9, 1999, page 4B: 'In the comfort of her home Thursday, July 8, 1999, our precious mother, Claudine Teague, 61, was called home to be with her loving Savior, Jesus Christ, our Lord, after fighting a courageous battle for many years. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 10, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with the Rev. Brandon Teague and the Rev. Paul Appleby officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Teague was born Nov. 8, 1937, in Palacios, Texas, to John Leroy Everett Sr. and Vennie Lowe Everett. She worked at Earthgrains for 18 years until her retirement and was a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving are her mother who lives in Jonesboro, La.; one son, Lanny Teague and wife ShreƩ of Paris; four daughters, Sheree Vickers of Marquez; Lisa Johnson of Paris, Kristi Morrow and husband Mike of Paris, and Debra Bates and husband Dennis of Foreman, Ark.; a brother, John Everett and wife Linda of Jonesboro, La.; five grandchildren, Gary Vickers, Amanda Vickers, Ty Bates, Taylor Flowers, and Jordan Johnson; one niece, Karen Duck and one nephew, Dave Everett, both of Louisiana. Pallbearers will be Jay Grizzle, Mick Horton, Gary Preston, Kevin Preston, Derek Jameson and Larry Holman. The family requests memorials be made to the Kidney Foundation or a charity of choice.'
