THE PARIS NEWS Mon., Aug. 16, 1993, p.1: 'Second Area Child Drowns in Pool - Two-year-old Todd Berry died early this morning in Children's Medical Center in Dallas. The youngster was pulled from an above-ground swimming pool at a home two miles south of Blossom on FM 194 shortly after 5 p.m. Sunday. The child's father, Glenn Berry, and family members told emergency units the boy had been in the water approximately five minutes when discovered. Family members began efforts to revive him before emergency units from Reno and Blossom arrived. He was transported to L.P. McCuistion Regional Medical Center by an emergency unit, then by Careflight to Children's Medical Center. He died shortly after 9 a.m. Monday.'
THE PARIS NEWS, Tue., Aug. 17, 1993, p. 10A: 'Todd Daniel Berry, 2, son of Glen and Anita Boss Berry, Rt. 1, Blossom, died Monday, Aug. 16, at Children's Medical Center in Dallas. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Bridges and the Rev. Bob Smith officiating. Burial will be in Knights of Honor Cemetery in Blossom. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The child was born Feb. 22, 1991. Other than his parents, surviving are two brothers, Clifton and Chris Hughes of the home; the grandparents, Argus and Nancy Berry of Blossom and Juanita Haynie of Valiant, OK; and the great-grandparents, Oma Berry of Paris and Bonnie Williams of Denver, CO. Pallbearers will be Mike Connot, Randy Connot, Michael Sessums and Bruce Martin.'
