THE PARIS NEWS, Friday, January 1, 1999, page 10A: 'Lucille Milling Barnett, 85, of Paris, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, in St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, in Gene Roden's Sons chapel with interment in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will follow the funeral service. Mrs. Barnett was born April 18, 1913, in Brookston, to W. D. and Arrie Allen Milling. She married Hoyt Barnett in 1934 and he preceded her in death in June 1992. A retired hairdresser, she was a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include two sons, David Barnett of Santa Fe, N.M. and Jimmy Barnett of Paris; a grandson, Jeffrey Barnett of Honey Grove; three granddaughters, Joanne Barnett Clark and Amanda Barnett Ross, both of Las Cruces, N.M., and Theresa Barnett of Honey Grove and three great-grandchildren.' Buried next to Patsy Lee Graves.
