| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Tuesday, December 22, 1998, page 4B: 'ACHILLE, Okla. - Nettie F. Beshirs, 81, of Hendrix, died Monday, Dec. 21, 1998, at St. Joseph's Hospital and Health center, Paris. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, at Yarnaby Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Stan Miller officiating. Cunningham Funeral Home of Achille will make burial in Yarnaby Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. She was born Feb. 5, 1917, in Yarnaby to John H. and Roxie Mae Bishop Freeman. She married Ruel 'Buster' Beshirs May 7, 1934. He died in September 1994. She was also preceded in death by a son, Bobby G. Beshirs May 1, 1998, and by three brothers and one sister. Surviving are nine sons, J. M. Beshirs of Sumner; R. A. Beshirs of Hugo, Billy Beshirs Sr.., of Kingston, Joe D. Beshirs of Platter, Ruel Beshirs of Platter, Jimmy Beshirs of Yarnaby, Michael Beshirs of Poteau, Paul Beshirs of Archer City, Texas, and Waymon Moorehead of Valliant; three daughters, Jean Trammel of Sumner; Nelda Farmer of Grant and Carolyn Barnett of Yarnaby; four brothers, Everett Freeman of Bessmer, Ala., Joseph Freeman of Tishomingo, James Freeman of Rattan and Dick Freeman of Hugo; three sisters, Mary Collinger of Spear, Betty Bailey of Hugo and Rose Thompson of Augusta, Ga.; 43 grandchildren; 72 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be grandchildren Ricky Barnett, Robert Purvis, Rodney Beshirs, Gerald Beshirs, Billy Beshirs Jr., and R. A. Beshirs, Jr.' |
