| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Tuesday, January 26, 1999, page 4B: 'Dora M. Bailey, 67, of Paris, died Friday, Jan. 22, 1999, in McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at Olive Branch Baptist Church, with the Rev. R. L. Gray officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Garden Cemetery under direction of Maxey Funeral Home. She was born March 18, 1931, in Paris to Booker T. and Myrtle (Giles) Ashley. She married Richard Bailey Jr., who preceded her in death. Survivors include sons Robert L. Bailey, Bobby W. Bailey, Bruce C. Bailey and Earl Bailey, all of Paris; daughters, Shirley A. Bailey of Paris and Donna J. Bailey of Dallas; sisters Helen Ashley Shelton and Stella Beauchamp, both of Paris. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughters Virginia Kay Wilburn and Carolyn Jeanette Hardison, and a son, Barnard Bailey. She received her education at Gibbons High School and was retired from Campbell Soup Company. She was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Marcus Bailey, Kenneth Peoples, Donnie Davidson, Carlos Bailey, Vincent Craig and Jaszmon Blake.' |
