| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Tue., Sep. 1, 1998, p. 4B: 'Matelar Bills, 94, of Paris died Sunday, Aug. 27, 1998, at St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sep. 2, at Solid Rock Baptist Church with the Rev. A. R. Martin officiating. Maxey Funeral Home will make burial in Restlawn Garden Cemetery. Surviving are a son, H. B. Bills of Long Beach, CA; daughters, Pearl Davis of Paris and Erma J. Ladell of Henderson, NV; 29 grandchildren; and 57 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Bills, a daughter, Bernice Embry a son, Ray Bills; a brother, Sim Flood and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Edward Randall, Ray Jackson, J. C. Fuller, Glenn Embry, Michael Embry and Quentin Embry.' On Tuesday, Sep. 8, 1998, by phone Maxey Funeral Home furnished date of birth as shown and names of parents as A. C. and Edna Beard Flood. |
