THE PARIS NEWS, Sun., Jun. 28, 1998, p. 4B: 'Cooper - Noyce Taylor, 77, a former Delta County resident died Thursday, June 25, 1998, at Cherry Street Manor in Paris. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Sunday, June 28, at Oaklawn Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Coker officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Cooper under direction of Delta Funeral Home. He is survived by two brothers, Leon Taylor and S. B. Taylor; a sister, Corene Colby; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father James Edward Taylor and his mother Mary Eva Ann Gibson. He was born June 26, 1920, and was a retired farmer and veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces.'
