THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 22 Sep 1988: 'Bonnie Myres Bateman, 74, of Des Plains, Ill., formerly of Paris, died Tuesday, 13 Sep 1988. Services were held Saturday, 13 Sep, in Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Meadowbrook Cemetery. Mrs. Bateman was born 21 Nov 1913, in Oklahoma, a daughter of Jesse and Margaret Williams Myres. She married Clyde H. Bateman Sr. who preceded her in death. Surviving are one son, Clyde Bateman Jr. of Palatine, Ill.; a brother, Jeff Myres of Oklahoma; a sister, Clyde Sparks of Paris; and two grandchildren.' |
