| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Friday, Thursday, April 14, 1921: 'Mrs. A. Basinger, the wife of W. E. Basinger, who is a farmer living near the city lake, died at 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon at St. Joseph's Infirmary. She was forty-seven years of age and besides her husband is survived by several children. The funeral will be held today at Hopewell cemetery.'
