THE DETROIT NEWS-HERALD, 30 Jan 1936 from microfilm in Clarksville Library: 'Paris -- Funeral services for Mrs. C. I. Broad, 70, who died Monday morning at her home, will be held Tuesday afternoon at the Central Presbyterian Church. She was Miss Annie Dohoney, the daughter of the late Col. and Mrs. E. L. Dohoney. Born and reared in Paris, she was a charter member of the Lotus Club, and was active in World War work. She is survived by her husband, 1 son, Thomas D. Broad of Dallas; 2 brothers and a sister.' Information from Lawrence and Sue Dale, Blossom, TX, sdale@suddenlink.net: Annie Dohoney was born in Lamar County and was the seventh child of Eben Lafayette Dohoney and Mary S. Johnson. She married Charles Irving Broad in Lamar County on 1 Dec 1885 as recorded in Lamar County Marriage Records Book 10, page 142.
