LAMAR COUNTY ECHO Thu., Jan. 24, 1985. 'Lloyd McCoy Tucker, 3895 Jefferson Rd., died Wednesday, Jan. 17, at McCuistion Medical Center. Services were held Friday, Jan. 18, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Fortenberry officiating. Burial was in Meadowbrook Cemetery. Mr. Tucker was born Jan. 31, 1911, in Delta County, a son of Thomas Jasper Tucker and Mary Dora Bryant Tucker. He was married to Kathryn Marchant on June 21, 1942, in Paris. He was a member of the East Paris Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. He was a retired power machine mechanic for Nahas and Vassarette. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Billy Paul Kerby of Paris and Bobby Joe Kerby of Garland; two daughters, Dorothy ray of Garland and Sandra ann Winn of Tulsa, OK.; one sister, Bertha Jackson of Grand Prairie; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren'.
