| Notes THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 13 Aug 1987. 'Anna Laura Todd of Roxton died at Conroe Friday, 7 Aug 1987, at 5:40 p.m. Services were held Monday, 10 Aug, at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Restland Cemetery at Roxton. Mrs. Todd was born 15 Jan 1920, in Lamar County, a daughter of John Houston Smith and Ella Morrison Smith. She attended schools in Lamar County and married Kenneth Weldon Todd in 1937. He died 23 Nov 1966. She had lived in Conroe for about a year. She worked at St. Joseph's Hospital for a number of years as housekeeper before retiring in 1982. Surviving are two daughters, Norma Jean Caves of Conroe and Wanda Jo Titus of Atwood, Ind.; and one grandchild, Melissa Ann Todd of Powderly. She was preceded in death by a son, James Weldon Todd, on 23 Apr 1982.' |
