Information from Milton L Campbell, Uncle_Satan@att.net, 07/14/2015: Robert Lee Thompson was the grandson of Charles N. and Mary Ann Davis Thompson of Lincoln county TN. Parents are not currently known, but C. N. Thompson's will of 1880 in Lincoln county TN listed him specifically as a grandson. Three of C. N. Thompson's sons came to Lamar county TX in the late 1880s/early 1890s: William W. Thompson (1842-1930), John W. 'Uncle John' Thompson (1844 - 1910, buried Evergreen), and C. N. Thompson, Jr, died 1905, Atlas, TX. On the same stone with Bettie T. Young Thompson. |
