THE PARIS NEWS, Tue., Aug. 13, 1996, p. 8A: "(Picture) ‘Her children rise up and called her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.’ Proverbs 31:28. Romayne Betty Tiller, 71, 6540 Inwood Drive, Paris, died at 5:26 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12, 1996, in McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, in the chapel of Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Fortenberry officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Tiller was born Jan. 20, 1925, in Forest City, PA., a daughter of Stephen and Elizabeth Roberts Sennett. She attended and graduated from schools in Pennsylvania. She married Carroll E. Tiller on May 29, 1944, in Washington, D.C. She retired from the Department of Defense in 1987. She was a member of East Paris Baptist Church and of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Surviving are her husband, Carroll, of Paris; six children, Betty Ann and husband Jack Parkerson of Arlington, Sharon and husband Julian Graham of Griffin, GA., Richard and wife Suzie Tiller of Denver; CO, Marcia and husband Carl Campbell of Ferris, Mary Alice and husband Jay White of Fort Worth, and Vivian and husband Michael Jack of Arlington; 25 grandchildren, Angela and husband Ken Nolte of College Station, Doug Parkerson of Austin, Rachel and husband Ian Salavon of Fort Worth, Susan Parkerson of Austin, Joshua Parkerson and Anita Parkerson, both of Arlington, Scott Graham of Irving, Stephen Graham, Beth Graham, Elisha Graham, Nathaniel Graham, Timothy Graham and Michael Graham, all of Griffin, GA, Jessica Tiller, Benjamin Tiller; Jullian Tiller and Jared Tiller, all of Denver, CO, Dustin Campbell and Jeanna Campbell, both of Ferris, Jessie White and Joel White, both of Fort Worth, Jeffrey Jack, Kevin Jack, Laura Jack, and Allison Jack, all of Arlington; and four brothers, Jerry Sennett, Rodney Sennett and WIlliam Sennett, all of Wilkes Barre, PA, and Gene Sennett of Edison, NJ. Pallbearers will be Doug Parkerson, Scott Graham, Joshua Parkerson, Michael Jack, Jay White and Jack Parkerson."
