THE PARIS NEWS, Wed., Nov. 2, 1994, p. 2A: "Jimmy Wayne Barber, 59, formerly of 407-1st SW, Paris, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1994, in McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Ray Starnes officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and will be at the Harold Barber residence, 2545 Clark Lane, at all other times. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Mr. Barber was born May 4, 1935, in Paris, a son of Jim and Mozelle Davis Barber. He attended schools in Blossom. On April 18, 1978, he married June Brewer in Lamar County. He was a member of the Baptist Church and had been associated with Hearn Produce for several years. He is survived by his wife of Blossom; a daughter, Charity Barber of Blossom; a son, Ricky Barber of San Antonio; two granddaughters; and a brother, Harold Barber of Paris."
