THE PARIS NEWS, Sun., June 30, 1991, p. 4A: “Patsy Jean Tyler, 51, Byers Rd., Port O’Conner, died Fri. at 4:15p.m. at her home. Services at 3:30 p.m. Tues., July 2, with Dr. Dwight Blankenship, Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home in charge. Born in Paris daughter of Clyde and Carol V. Poole. Attended schools in Paris and Paris Junior College and married Clyde Lee Tyler. She lived in Ft. Worth until 1972 and moved to Port O’Conner in 1978. Was a member of the Episcopal Church and was a drug and alcohol counselor for a number of years. Surviving are her husband; two children, Tamela Parker of Bastrop and William Michael Hardesty of Portland, Ore.; 3 stepchildren, Eddie Tyler of Port Lavaca, Richard and Randy Tyler, both of Ft. Worth; 2 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Carol Johnson of Canton; a sister, Billie Sue West of Canton and a brother, Dean Myers of Ramore, MO. Bearers were Ed Rodbell, Bob Tyler, Wayne Forgason, Joe Rodriquez, Edward Tyler and Randy Tyler.”

Tombstone is inscribed, “Patsy Jean Myers.” On the same stone with Carol Pool Myers and Billie Sue Myers.
