THE PARIS NEWS, Thu., Jun. 13, 1996, p.14A. '(Picture) Lorene S. Isom, 77, 6740 Lamar Ave. in reno community died at 6:55 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 1996, at St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 14, in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with Curry Jones officiating. Burial will be in Knights of Honor Cemetery in Blossom. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Isom was born July 19, 1918, in Paris, a daughter of Loris Moses 'Doc' Stell and Loreta Seay Stell. She graduated from Paris High School and Paris Beauty College. She was a beautician in the local area for many years having worked in various salons as well as owning her own salon. She was a member of the Kill Kare Klub and Reno Church of Christ. She married Thomas [Calvin] Isom Dec. 24, 1841, in Hugo, OK. He preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents and by two brothers, Roy D. Stell and Loris R. Stell and also by a sister, Nannie Lou Whitledge. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Sammy Sims of Troup and Ann and Ray Criswell of Clarksville; a son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Denise Isom of Deport; eight grandchildren, Rod and Lisa Sims of Pattonville, Bubba Sims of Troup, Sammy Wayne Sims of Flint, Les and Shannon Watkins of Reno, Raymond Criswell III of Huntington Beach, CA, Robbie and Cindy Criswell of Colorado Springs, CO, Shawn Criswell of Norfolk, VA and William 'Bill' Criswell of Clarksville; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews including Jim Whitledge of Blossom. Named to serve as pallbearers are Al Barnett, Kenneth Risinger, William Campbell, Greg Campbell, Bill Dalton and James Mann.'
