THE PARIS NEWS, 6 Feb 1984, Monday, p. 2: “Josephine Ann Ingram, Stonebrook Nursing Center, died at St. Joseph’s Hospital at 3:07 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 5. Services were scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randall Scott officiating. Burial was to be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Ingram was born Feb. 7, 1917, a daughter of Joel S. Strickland and Margarite McElroy Strickland. She attended Sherman schools and was graduated from Paris High School. She married Ivey Joe Ingram on Dec. 28, 1934. He died July 29, 1969. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Jack (Joan) Poole of Irving, Mrs. Jerry (Sandra) Black of Paris and Mrs. Bobby (Janis) Crutchfield of Paris; two sons, Larry Joe Ingram of Paris and Joel (Buddy) Ingram of Paris; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her step-mother, Mrs. Joel (Essie) Strickland of Paris.”
