LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, September 29, 1983: p.4. ‘Funeral services for Ethyl Ann Buster, 604-9th SE, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 24, at Oak Park United Methodist Church. Gene Roden’s Sons, Directors of Funerals, will make burial in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Mrs. Buster died Thursday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born Feb. 1, 1891, in the Page Chapel community of Lamar County, a daughter of Andrew Jackson Burton and Nettie Lilliam Page Jackson. She married Willie Edgar Buster on Dec. 26, 1911. He died April 14, 1944. She was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving are five daughters, Dorrell Griffith of Paris, Ora Lee Hammond of Fort Worth, Mary Kropp of Paris, Billie Worsham of Houston and Ruth Ann Stewart of Fort Worth; three sons, Horace Eugene Buster of Houston, Weldon Buster of Vancouver, Wash. and Jack Charles Buster of Kingsville; four sisters, Exie Bobbitt of Oklahoma City, Gladis Davis of Big Spring, Verva Joy of Tulia, and Theo McNeally of San Angelo; one brother, Chester Burton of Bryan and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grand-children."
