THE PARIS NEWS, September 14, 1936: “Funeral for Mrs. Maggie Bryant of Caviness, 76 years old, who died Saturday night at 9:45 o’clock at her home was held Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock at Caviness cemetery by the Rev. J.H. Johnson of Chicota. She leaves a son, John Bryant of Caviness, one brother, Roy Terrell of Clay county who is 101 years old, and two nephews, Dellous and Gordon Terrell, both of Roxton.”
