THE PARIS NEWS, Wed., Nov. 22, 1995, p.14A. 'Lloyd Owen Brown, 87, of Paris died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 1995, at St. Joseph's Hospital & Health Center. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 24, in Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Brown was born June 3, 1908, in Titus County, a son of Silas O. and Emma A. Brown. He married Daphna Barnes Oct. 12, 1987. He was retired from American Box Co. as a night watchman. He has served in the Army and was a member of First Assembly of God Church. Surviving are his wife; a son, Billy G. Brown of Paris; a daughter, Beatrice Sue Scott of Paris; a sister, Odetta Ardena Roberts of Bogata; four grandchildren, Glenda Sue Clements of Clardy and Barbara Weaver of Paris. [No other grandchildren named] He was preceded in death by his first wife, Veda Beatrice Brown, and a daughter, Wilma Brown Anderson.'
