Pratt Jr. Born in Lamar County, a son of Walter & Clara Washington Brooks, he attended Lamar County schools & was a retired custodian at T.G. Givens Elementary School. He was a Baptist. Surviving are 3 sons, Joe Brooks Jr., Greg Brooks & Gary Jones, all of Paris; 2 foster sons, Ronald Jones & Julius Jones; a daughter, Mary Louise Brooks of Dallas; 2 brothers, Jim Moore of Dallas & Walter Moore of Los Angeles, CA; & 2 sisters, Maggie Brooks & Geneva Brooks both of Los Angeles, CA.' |
