Notes

Broyles cemetery is located in the southeast quadrant of Fannin County off Farm Market Road 824, east of the intersection with Farm Market Road 1550, near Dial community of Fannin County, on the border of Fannin and Lamar County lines. It would be in Block 52 of the Lamar County Road Map produced by American Drafting and Services revised December 1993. It was recorded by Tony and Elizabeth Booth on 23 Jan 1971. It contains at least 20 graves including the unknowns, the oldest inscribed grave is that of I. J. Young who died in 1862. An unknown and undated newspaper article with picture was in possession of Elizabeth Booth. It concerned the restoration project of John and Gloria King of this cemetery. A fund had been started for it at the First State Bank in Honey Grove. The article also stated that the cemetery was named after Isaac Broyles, its owner. Then C. W. Young inherited the burial ground. The article named many of the burials.

The Death and Cemetery Records have reached 117694 records!!
