THE PARIS NEWS, Mon., Oct. 17, 1994, p.6A. 'Elizabeth Jones Blease, 80, of Paris died Sunday, Oct. 16, 1994, in Heritage Care Nursing Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, in Ramey Funeral Chapel in Saluda, SC. Burial will be in Travis Park Cemetery. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Mrs. Blease was born Mar. 28, 1914, in Ward, SC, a daughter of B.J. and Josephine Cato Jones. She was a housewife and attended Shannon United Methodist Church in Columbia, SC. She married P. Wainwright Blease Sep. 13, 1935. He died Feb. 2, 1982. She was a member of the Garden Club and the Bridge Club in Saluda. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Wain and Nadine Blease, Rt. 1, Powderly; a daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Joe Flahive of Bastrop; five grandchildren, Annie, Eric, Sharon, Army [sic] and David; and two great-grandchildren, Erica and Christen.'
