THE PARIS NEWS, 1 Jul 1962: 'A. W. (Andy) Blair, 68, formerly of Paris, died at home, 7315 Concord, Dallas, Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services in Paris will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Fry and Gibbs chapel by the Rev. James E. Jones, assistant at First Methodist Church. Burial will be made in Evergreen Cemetery. Son of the late A. W. and Mary Ann (Campbell) Blair, Andy Blair was born in Paris, 4 Dec 1894, and attended schools here. He was associated with the family business, then Blair's Ideal Laundry, until going to Dallas 32 years ago. He was a member of the Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge here. Surviving besides his wife, the former Jessie Smith, are three daughters by a former marriage, Mrs. Fred Newman, Cooper; Mrs. Claud Morgan, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Mrs. Rex Shelton, Borger; six grandchildren, and two sisters Mrs. J. L. Brindley, Hugo, Okla. and Mrs. Roy Caviness, Pharr.' Nicknamed 'Andy.' Married Jessie Smith.
