LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, March 28, 1985, p. 4. 'Ruie L. Bills, 139-11th NE, died Wednesday, March 20, at Cherry Street Manor Nursing Home. Graveside services were held Friday, March 22, at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery. Gene Roden's Sons, Directors of Funerals, had charge of arrangements. Hubert Roach, Church of Christ minister, officiated. Miss Bills was born Jan. 9, 1891, in Bonham, a daughter of George Franklin and Aulena Henderson Bills. She was a milliner at the Collegiate Shoppe for many years before retiring. She worked for Arthur Cadell Co. prior to employment at The Collegiate. Surviving are two brothers, Jack A. Bills of Paris and Billy Bills of Waxahachie; three sisters, Sue Ormsby of Paris, Mary Ruth Biard of Paris and Pauline Brotherton of Stephenville.' Buried next to Sue Ormsby.
