THE PARIS NEWS Wed., Jan. 5, 1983. '...259 Evergreen, died Sun., Jan. 3, at Wichita Falls General Hospital. Services at 1 p.m. Thu., Jan. 6, at Solid Rock Baptist Church with Rev. A.R. Martin and Rev. W.O. Evans of Wichita Falls. Born in Lamar County, a son of Frank and Jane Biard, he was a member of the Solid Rock Baptist Church and was a veteran of World War I serving in the U.S. Army. He was employed in the home of Jess Alford for a number of years. Surviving are 4 daughters, Mrs. Gelesto [Gelata?] Huddleston, Mrs. Juanita Watkins and Mrs. Mary Lee Bolton, all of Chicago, IL and Mrs. Helen Moore of Wichita Falls; 4 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.' On the same stone with Willie Mae Biard. From materials and a picture donated to the genealogical library in 1995 by Thelma Jean Day: Added information from church bulletin: 'Maxey Funeral Home had charge of interment in Restlawn Garden Cemetery. Rev. A.R. Martin officiated. Pallbearers were deacons of the church.'
