THE PARIS NEWS, Sun., Mar. 31, 1996, p.10A. 'Mary Ellen Bennington, 88, of Paris died here Thursday, March 28, 1996. Graveside services were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Maury Winnie officiating. Services were under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home. Mrs. Bennington was born June 16, 1907, in Peerless and had lived in Paris the past 25 years. She was a retired sales clerk for Belk Department Stores and was a Methodist. Surviving are a son, Bill Bennington of Wake Village; three sisters, Lois Mann of Paris, Ida Meyers of Clarendon and Jean Anderson of Dallas; one grandson, Ben Bennington of Wake Village; two great-grandchildren. The family is at 112 Shellwood in Wake Village.'
