THE PARIS NEWS, Mon., Mar. 6, 1995, p.10A. 'Roy Autry Bell, 86, 2185 E. Cherry, died Saturday, March 4, 1995, at St. Joseph's Hospital & Health Center. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home conducted graveside services at 2 p.m. Monday, March 6, in Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Fortenberry officiating. Mr. Bell was born Oct. 1, 1908, in Marietta, OK, a son of Harvey and Hattie May Colson Bell. He was a retired custodian at First Baptist Church and was a Baptist. He married Lorene Emma Upchurch Jan. 6, 1932. Surviving are his wife; a son, Dean Bell , Rt. 6, Paris; four daughters, Betty Daughtry of Fort Worth, Joyce Dorough of Paris, Linda Cox of Lubbock and Robbie Wincher of New Boston; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ara Wheeler of Oklahoma City and Bertha Bowen of Blossom; and two brothers, Oscar and Larue Bell, both of Houston. Pallbearers were Michael Dean Bell, Shane Bell, DeWayne Howard, Eddie Williams, James Allen Daughtry, Paul Lynn Daughtry and David Hindman.'
