THE PARIS NEWS, Fri., Dec. 15, 1995, p.8A. 'Lorene Bell, 82, of Paris died at 8 a.m.. Friday, Dec. 15, 1995, in St. Joseph's Hospital & Health Center. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home will conduct graveside services at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, in Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Fortenberry officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Bell was born April 12, 1913, in Lamar County, a daughter of Embrey and Vennie Lou Stallings Upchurch. She retired in 1970 after 12 years of employment at the Paris Golf and Country Club. She was a member of the East Paris Baptist Church. She married Roy Autrey Bell Jan. 6, 1932. He preceded her in death on March 4, 1995. Surviving are a son, Dean Bell, Rt. 6, Paris; four daughters: Betty Daughtry, Fort Worth; Joyce Dorough, Paris; Linda Cox, Lubbock; and Robbie Wincher, New Boston; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Robbie Upchurch, Joe Upchurch, Donald Upchurch and Wayne Upchurch, all of Paris; and four sisters, Ruby Choate of Westvillle, OK, Margie Ward of Paris, and Jean Albertson and Patsy Nelson, both of Fort Worth. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Florence Upchurch and Wilma Roberts, and two brothers, Willie and John Upchurch. Pallbearers will be Michael Dean Bell, Shane Bell, Dewayne Howard, Eddie Williams, James Allen Daughtry, Paul Lynn Daughtry and David Hindman.'
