THE PARIS NEWS, Monday, January 9, 1978. 'Mrs. W. L. Beard, 93, of 685-5th NW, died at McCuistion Regional Medical Center at 5:40 p.m. Sunday. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Raymond Armstrong of the First Christian Church will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Beard, the former Eudora Bradley, daughter of A. A. Bradley and the former Damie Clouse, was born Feb. 8, 1884 in Sparta, Tenn. She moved to Texas when she was young. On June 4, 1902, she married W. L. Beard in Paris. They lived at Detroit a short time before moving to Paris, where they have lived since. Mr. Beard died Dec. 16, 1947. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. W. H. (Mabel) Haley, Miss Marguerite Beard and Mrs. Rollo (Virginia) Watson, all of Paris; four sons, T. A. Beard of Hillsboro, Ohio; Bill Beard, Jr. of Powderly, Bob Beard of Paris and Ralph Beard, also of Paris; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Mrs. Marie Goss of Paris.' On the same stone with Willie Love Beard.
