THE PARIS NEWS, 15 Mar 1977: 'Mrs. William Barham, the former Bettye Jean Graham, of Roxton, died in St. Francis Hospital at Tulsa, Okla. at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church in Roxton with the Rev. Rick Seals, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Tim Walker, a former pastor of the church and now of Dallas. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery at Roxton by Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home of Paris. Mrs. Barham was born 30 Dec 1928 [sic] in Roxton, daughter of the late Curtis A. Graham and Beula Milford Graham, who survives. She attended Roxton public schools and Paris Junior College. She married William H. Barham on 27 Nov 1949, in Roxton. They had lived there since that time. She was an associate of the Hardy Moore law firm in Paris for the past 27 years. She was a member of the First Methodist Church at Roxton and a member of the Progressive Sunday School class of the church. Mrs. Barham was currently serving as vice president of the Paris-Sulphur Springs District of the United Methodist Women. She was a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants and an active member of the Lamar County Democratic Party. Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Bill Musselman of Stillwater, Okla.; one grandson, Michael Musselman; her mother of Roxton; and one sister, Mrs. Ron (Margaret) Fulton of Norman, Okla.'
