THE PARIS NEWS Tue., Jan. 15, 1993, p.12A. 'Katheryne Patrick Barbee, 77, 3211 Allen, died Tuesday, June, 15, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Services will be held at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, at Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Barbee was born Jan. 3, 1916, in Flint, TX, a daughter of Willis L. and Bertha Haizlip Patrick. She married E.E. (Sonny) Barbee Aug. 12, 1943. He died Sep. 27, 1989. She was a retired assistant vice president at Liberty National Bank where she worked for more than 40 years. She also had been employed by Speas Vinegar. She was a Presbyterian. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Sarah Barbee and Pat and LeAnn Barbee, all of Paris; two brothers-in-law, James Crouch of Arlington and Bill H. Barbee of Sterling City, TX; a sister-in-law, Betty Barbee of Sterling City; seven grandchildren; three cousins, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothye Mason of Little Rock, AR and Maydelle Crouch of Arlington. Pallbearers will be Bill Vest, Verlon Stewart, Philip Cecil, Richard Nafe, Arthur Cawthon, Jimmy Crouch and Hull Barbee.' This is also entered under surname Patrick.
