Notes
From materials donated to the genealogical library in 1995 by Thelma Jean Day: 'Mrs. Liza Baldwin, 76, Negro resident of Rt. 4, Paris, died of illness, Sunday at 3 p.m., at home. Moody and Wortham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors are two children, Mrs. Viola Pierce, Rt. 4, Paris, and Tommy Baldwin, El Paso; 19 other descendants; and these sisters and brothers: Mrs. Mary Burns, Mrs. Josie Gray, Mrs. Estella Ruff, Miss Carrie Gumm, and Willie Baldwin, all of Paris; Miss Winnie Gumm, Glory community; Calvin Baldwin, Wichita Falls; and Clarence Baldwin, Memphis.' Same source as above: '...funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church, by the Rev. R.L. Gray. Moody and Wortham Funeral Home will make burial in Glory.'
