LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, July 13, 1989, p.4. 'Louise Baker, 88, 3315 Lamar Ave., died at 1:05 a.m. Thursday, June 29, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 1, at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. A. B. White officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Miss Baker was born May 3, 1900, in Paris, a daughter of John S. and Lillie Collins Baker. She attended Paris schools and worked for the county for 37 years before retiring in 1976. She retired as a secretary to County Judge Lester Crutchfield. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a member of the pastor's Sunday school class there. Surviving are a niece, Mrs. Bill (Linda) Flanary of Paris; one nephew, William E. Baker of Albuquerque, N.M.; two great-nieces, Michelle Flanary of Paris and Jennifer Baker of Albuquerque; two great-nephews, Mike Flanary of Paris and Kent Baker of Albuquerque; and several cousins. Bearers were Ed Ellis, Lester Crutchfield, L.C. Johnson, Dr. Harold Hunt, Don Black and the Rev. Lane Park.' LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 2 Jul 1989. 'Funeral services for Louise Baker, 3315 Lamar, were conducted Saturday in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. A.B. White officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Bearers were Ed Ellis, Lester Crutchfield, L.C. Johnson, Dr. Harold Hunt, Don Black and the Rev. Lane Park. Miss Baker died 29 Jun 1989 at St. Joseph's Hospital.' Buried next to John Edwin Baker.
