| Notes THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 25 Aug 1988. 'Sadie Luella Bailey, 73, wife of Freeman Bailey, Arlington, died at Seton Hospital in Austin, Wednesday, 17 Aug 1988. Services were held Friday, 19 Aug, in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Meeks officiating. Burial was in Knights of Honor Cemetery at Blossom. Mrs. Bailey was born 21 Nov 1914, in Blossom, a daughter of Albert Whitson and Florence White Whitson. She attended Blossom schools and married Mr. Bailey on 14 Sep 1935, in Blossom. They moved from Paris in 1951. She had lived in Arlington for the past 15 years. She was a member of the Nazarene Church. Surviving are her husband of Marlin; one son, Stanley R. Bailey of Round Rock; one grandson, David Brannon Bailey of Round Rock; and one sister, Dorothy Wilson of Blossom. She was preceded in death by two children, Weldon Glynn Bailey and Sarah Jo Bailey.'
