THE PARIS NEWS, Wed., Aug. 23, 1995, p. 10A: 'Pauline Estell Bailey, 77, of Dallas died Monday, Aug. 21, 1995, at 8:52 p.m. in Doctor's Health Care Center in Dallas. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Bailey, pastor of North Dallas Fellowship Church, officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Bailey was born April 16, 1918, in Blossom, a daughter of Philip Harvey and Mary Susan Bailey. She graduated from Blossom High School and the nursing program at St. Joseph's Hospital in Paris. She served in the Women's Army Corps during World War II as a nurse. After the war she pursued nursing as a career. She was a member of the Nazarene Church. Surviving are one son, Jerry Smith of Dallas; four grandchildren, Matthew Norman Smith and Emily Susan Smith, both of Austin, Jeffery Scott Smith and Joshua Bailey Smith, both of Dallas; one sister-in-law, Hettie Mae Bailey of Blossom; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Bob Bailey, Morris Bailey, Matthew Smith, Jeffery Smith, Chris Bailey, Kirk LeGear and Charlie Bailey.'
