THE PARIS NEWS, 29 May 1973. 'Mrs. Reginald Bailey, Rt.1, Detroit, died at 9:15 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Methodist Church in Detroit. The Rev. Bob Bryan will officiate and Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home will have charge of burial in East Post Oak Cemetery. The former Odena Louise Smith, Mrs. Bailey was born 17 Jun 1922, in Lamar County, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rich Smith. She married Reginald Bailey on 31 Mar 1941, in Paris. She attended Paris schools and a beauty college. The family moved to Monahans in 1954 and returned to Detroit in 1965. She was employed at Campbell Soup Co. for six years. She was a member of Detroit Methodist Church and its Women's Missionary Society. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Kenneth Bailey of El Paso and Keith Bailey of Odessa; a sister, Mrs. K.W. Kautz of El Paso; a brother Harold Smith of Arlington and two grandchildren.'

Married T. Reginald Bailey. Inscription on stone says 'Mother.'
