THE PARIS NEWS, Friday, 24 Apr 1992, p. 4A: “Mildred Gladys Biggs, 73, Rt. 1, Paris, died Thursday, April 23, at Love County Health Center in Marietta, Okla. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 25, in the Bryam Family Cemetery. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Biggs was born Sept. 2, 1918, in Oklahoma, a daughter of John Wesley Gregory and Lillie Mae Snow Gregory. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Women’s Auxiliary. Surviving are two sons, Stanley Biggs of Powderly and Bryan Biggs of Nolanville; six daughters, Helen McCartney of Velma, Okla., Shirley Warrington of Healdton, Okla., Barbara McCartney of Loco, Okla., Leona Womack of Bonham, Mildred Prunty of Paris and Merry Lee Byram of Paris; one sister in law, Bessie Gregory of Paris; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.”
